Community Support and Land Management
Along with our tours, activities, restaurants and campgrounds, EXP Norrland also focuses on maintenance and land management of our very important nature reserves, Storforsen and Fredriksberget. Much of this work is done on a volunteer basis to ensure that our beautiful nature reserves remain accessible to everyone to enjoy all year round.
EXP Norrland is also proud to support many of our local community associations and projects.

Community Support
At EXP Norrland we believe in supporting our community. As we grow we help our community and local associations grow with us. We support local associations like Vidsels Skoterklubb where we donate money and equipment and assist with driving trails through the Winter season. With Vidsels Idrottsklubb we donate equipment and offer support with events. We are proud to sponsor both the Älvsby IF Fotboll Klubb and the Älvsby Discgolf Klubb.

Land Management
At both Storforsen and Fredriksberget we take care of cleaning and maintaining walkways. Most of this work takes place over the Summer months but at Storforsen Nature Reserve we volunteer over 200 hours every Winter to help keep the walkways between Hotel Storforsen and the Storforsen Viewpoint accessible through the heavy snows and ice. This involves clearing snow, sanding the ice, cutting steps and creating walking trails.
